water is life

I made this picture in 2007 for an art contest called water is life...unexpectedly it was entered into the lake conference instead and when it finally got to the water is life contest it ended up making it into the semi-finalists...they told me they would be keeping it for a year. It was a long year but I finally got it back so here it is, enjoy!

(Just so you get the full idea, the turtle's shell is raised 1/4 of an inch with foam board giving it a popped out look)
